Camp Theme: We Happy Few
Dates: July 17-21
Age Groups: Grades (as of Fall 2023)
K through 5, Half Day Camp 9AM to 12PM
6 through 12, Full Day Camp 9AM to 4PM
Curriculum: Skill session plus rehearse monologues and scenes with a Friday performance showcase. Every day of camp will offer a different lesson in a skill or aspect of theater, like stage combat (with pool noodles), clowning, dance, prop and costume construction, movement & voice, followed by a snack break, then scene monologue rehearsal.
Full Day campers (grades 6-12) will have the opportunity to specialize in various areas of theater, including directing, acting, design, and stage management while also having the opportunity to mentor younger campers in the mornings.
Each student will receive a free t-shirt to be worn at the Friday showcase. Nutritious snacks, juice, and water will be provided each day.
Parental Waivers: Parents will be required to sign a waiver permitting their child to be in our care for three hours each day and a photo waiver saying we can use photos and video of their children and their performances.
COVID-19: We will follow all local and CDC guidelines regarding mask wearing, social distancing, and other Covid-19 prevention measures.
